Experience dynamic Budapest, imperial Vienna and exquisitely preserved Prague. Marvel at ravishing scenery as your luxurious ship glides through the Wachau Valley, celebrated as one of the world’s most beautiful landscapes, into Germany and past charming Bavarian villages. Exclusive treasures are plentiful on this delightful journey. Prague for me is a solid two full day trip at a minimum while Budapest I think needs 3 full days. Not because its better, but its a larger scale experience. Also with Prague I really think you need to stop in Cesky Krumlov (1 day) and maybe spend a day or two seeing some of the magnificent Czech castles. On your trip to Prague - Vienna - Budapest I recommend that you spend a total of 4-5 days visiting the city of Prague. The city has plenty of places to visit. You can also take a trip to nearby places such as Karlovy Vary or Tezerín and, most importantly, it is a city to experience and soak up the atmosphere, so this number of days is ideal. Prague for a Day, Budapest for a Weekend. Because its main attractions are within easy walking distance, Prague is easier to cover on foot, adding to its attraction as a whistle-stop city. Unless Prague is an unbeatable place for its historic old town charm. However, Rome does not have a historic old town. With a famous historical old-town, Prague offers plenty to see. Based around Old Town Square, this city has one of the most impressive old towns in the world. Rome does not have a historic old town. Is the Shopping Better in Prague or Weather-wise, Budapest has warmer summers and colder winters, while Prague’s climate is more temperate throughout the year. Choose Budapest for a sunnier summer getaway and Prague for a milder summer experience. Safety is a priority in both cities, with Budapest and Prague being generally safe for tourists. If you visit Budapest prior to Prague, you might enjoy it more. There is far more to do in Budapest than Ljubljana. The weather also always seems hit-or-miss in Slovenia. Ljubljana really requires two days to see most of what it has to offer. Comparatively, you can probably fill 4-5 days in Budapest. Vienna wins for safety, things to do, and day trip opportunities. Both cities are pretty equal when it comes to accessibility, weather, and food. However, in terms of accessibility and food, in a Prague vs. Vienna showdown when also taking cost into consideration, Prague would win the tie-breakers. I5ys5.
